The purpose of the Division is to ccquoint students with artistically expressed ideas which will give them insights into human noturo. The Humanities help students to establish sound priority of values and to realize thof in order to moke our democracy sofe they must help maintain these values. The academic work in this field enables stu- dents to intelligently appraise fine art and develop appreciation for it.
