CHARLES H. SKIDMORE The State Board of Education, of which Mr. Skidmore is Chairman, has had much to do with the fortunes of Weber College since it was taken over by the state in 1933. During the six years of Weber's existence as part of Utah’s educational set-up, there has been considerable growth in plant and student body. The Moench Building has been renovated and added to; new campus has been acquired and the old grounds landscaped; a new $150,000 Voca- tional Education plant has provided terminal instruction for non-academic students and trades training opportunities for the community. Many build- ings, much ground, and considerable equipment are yet to be added; student numbers will steadily increase. These things are inevitable.
