MEN’S ASSOCIATION For the first time at Weber College the men students organized. They chose as their leaders Stan Mansfield, president. Val Scoville, vice-president, and Max Carruth, secretary. Under this leadership the Men's Association made a start, forming a nucleus for a continued organization. During the spring quarter, the Men's Association sponsored a Men's Day, which included an assembly and a dance in the evening. SOPHOMORE CLASS Under capable leadership the Sophomore Class of 1938 accomplished many- useful and worthwhile goals. For the first time in the school's history, the class published a complete Weber Handbook, which proved useful throughout the year. The Sopho- more Class also originated and sponsored the Flaming W Hike. Although the sophomores administered overwhelming defeats to the freshmen in the annual competitive events, they showed unmistakable friendship and compan- ionship as was displayed at the fali and spring outings conducted by the Sophomore Class.
