Violet Miller Delbert Pierce JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY Gee! Can you imagine? It was only three years ago in the fall of 1953 when forty-two Green Freshmen walked through this hall utterly thrilled at the event of becoming a W.T.H.S. student. Having Mr. Partridge and Mr. Rutherford as sponsors, we dug right in and elected officers as follows: President, Harold Chamblissg Vice-President, Jimmy Wiggins, Secretary-Treasurer, Kaye Pierce, and Student Council, Nancy Bean and Bill Green. Last year our sponsors were Mr. Partridge and Mr. Rutherford again. Being over our greenness , we Call forty-four of usb reentered the halls of learning more confident of ourselves. Our officers were: President, Larry Wilson, Vice-President, Harold Chamblissg Secretary. Norma Wilson, Treasurer, Pat Chamblissg Student Council, Violet Miller and Melvin White. With two successful years behind us, we're determined to do even better! We have thirty-five in our class this year and new sponsors, Mrs. Taylor and Mr. Razer. We started off with a bang by having a real crazy Sadie Hawkins Party. The Junior magazine sales went over on high, too. Our play, Bolts and Nuts , hasn't come off yet. Our officers for this year are: President, Violet Millerg Vice- President, Jim Wiggins, Secretary, Pat Chamblissg Treasurer, Delbert Pierce, Student Council, Norma Wilson and Larry Wilson. Our Sadie Hawkins Queen was Shirley Minor and our Homecoming candidates were Nancy Bean and Norma Wilson. Can you feature it? We'll all be Sophisticated Seniors next year. Well, so long till then.
