James Lewis, James Bundy, Loren Gerrish, Fred Meyers, Leland Carroll SUMMARY Bluford's boys went to Wayzie City to put in a few evenings of practice this year, because our Gym was unfinished. Our hrst game of the year was with Mount Vernon B. Team, which we defeated by a score of 25-24. Following this came the county tournament. The first game was played at Woocllawn where we clashed with Belle Rive. Defeating them we met Waltonville at Bonnie. Beating them we went on to defeat Bonnie for the county tournament. Then on to the Regional where we clashed with Mount Vernon. There we suffered our first defeat of the season. From there on to Wayiie City where they downed us by a score of 37-33 ending the 1944 season. HOWARD GOWLER. The 1944 Web 31
