The ORACLE kept its literar format this year, although a few small changes were made. lt was decidled that we would choose a central theme for each magazine, our first theme was the South . There was more non- fiction in this ORACLE than in previous ones. lt took the form of book reviews, movie reviews, and essays. lnitially, student involvement in the ORACLE was not outstanding, but it increased as the year progressed. The staff was again small, but it was a hardworking staff. The members of the ORACLE had a deep commitment towards excellence in writing, and they hoped that in years to come this mommlitmient would be carried on by other students under the leadership of r. up ey.
