The Future Hoinemakers of America consists of high school girls who are enrolled in the home economics class. This group began their activities with their informal initiation of new members. Many of the girls attended the district F.H.A. meeting licld in Sarcoxie. They pre- sented Elvis Mesley and the Chipmunks , among many other amusing characters in an as- sembly presented for the Sr. Hi. students. Their true Christmas spirit was displayed when they distributed two Christmas baskets to the needy families. Their spring sock hop concluded their activities forthe year. In view of their many activities, one may be reminded of their motto: Toward New Horizons . Page 28
