.American legion Ora forica! Confeaf The American Legion Oratorical Contest was held this Winter with five high school students partici- pating. Each presented a five minute oration on the Constitution of the United States. Miss Becky Doolen received first place and competed in the county oratorical contest held at Carthage. It was held this fall at Carl Junction. Miss Phyliss Oliver was our representative this year. Rules of the contest set a thirty-minute time limit to prepare a meal for three, with a price limit of three dollars. 0l'l0l 0 The introduction of an Honor Roll system is just one of the many improvements Webb City High School has made this year. This system encourages scholastic achievement, as the student must have no lower grade than an S to qualify. Students who were on the honor roll all four quarters received a school letter in recognition of their achievement. 'E Each asterisk represents one quarter on the honor roll.
