MISS HARRIET GLASSBURNER MISS ANNE HUNTER Miss Harriet Glassburner, first Band Queen in the history of the high school, was crowned February 26, at an impressive Coronation ceremony held in the new auditorium. Leading the procession of the queen's attendants were Miss Kathy Sumpter and her escort, Gary Dawson. Miss Sumpter was followed by Miss Barbara Benson and her escort, Julius DeGraff. Next in the procession was Miss Glassburner, escorted by Gary Gilliam. Miss Anne Hunter followed, escorted by Bill Frizzell. The queen was crowned by Gary Cox, president of the Band. The Queen was chosen by secret ballot by the senior high student body. Page 9
