Although we lack the agility of the Juniors and the dignity of the Seniors, still we have proven ourselves to he a promising class. BEST CHTHZENS We now introduce to you the Best Boy and Girl Citizens of the class of 1955! They are Carol Sue Huddleston, sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Jimmie Bridges, sponsored by the Sons of the American Ilevolution. They were selected by the trainers and the Senior perform- ers as the girl and boy who best exemplify the ideals of citizenship in their graduating class. They were awarded medals at the Honor Assembly. ' 1':Qf! BEST SPORTSMEN Two of the top performers under our Big Top are Fern Conner and Bob Wuellner who were selected as the Babe lluth Sportsmen of the Class of 1955. They were given this honor by a representative committee com- posed oi' student council members and fac- ulty and the vote of the senior high student body. Selection for the Babe Ruth Sports- manship Award is based on athletic ability, sportsmanship and citizenship. This is the fifth year the student council has sponsored this award and this year's selection is rep- resentative of our performers.
