We have been richly rewarded for our earnest pursuit of knowledge as a preparation for our future careers. Even though we admit it ourselves, we have achieved much in extra-curricular activities which develop our talents, for the Seniors have won lau- rels for our school in oration and debate, in instrumental and vocal music, and in basketball. As we shall reminisce in the future, our red-letter days of this year will have been the day the new gymnasium-auditorium was openedg the elaborately- staged crowning of the Queen of King Jack, Senior Tacky Day with the varied and freakish costumes of all of us-even our sponsorsg the skilled presentation of Mother Is A Freshman as our Senior Class Playg the day on which we proudly donned our caps and gownsg the gay and colorful Junior-Senior party, the enjoy- ment of which was enhanced by the lovely girls in their beautiful dressesg then- finally the Commencement activities: Baccalaureate Sunday, Class Day, and Grad- uation-the realization of our dreams and aspirations. We are proud of the fact that we are the first class to be graduated in the new auditorium. .Though we are reluctant to leave our school, of which we shall always cherish fond memories, we look forward to doing our part to preserve the ideals of our America. the L'ca:ufif11I.
