Remz'nz'scz'7zg Our Senior Class is somewhat distinguished in one respect: with only sixty members, it is the smallest graduating class in recent years. Yet We hasten to assure everyone that our quality is above par. Three of our members had exceptionally high scores in the Ohio psychological test: Grace Palmer, John Bishir and Jane Watson. John Bishir has medalist honors in golf: Jack Mayfield has been outstanding in the district as a backfield man in football: Tommy Johns is high scorer in basketball. Hazel Burk has trained an enthusias- tic pep club of underclassmen. Fourteen Seniors have earned A team football letters: four, A team basketball letters. In music, Kenneth Shoup as a vocal soloist,'Marilyn Gretz as a violinist, and Nancy Lee as a pianist have attained high honors in festivals and contests. As for beauty, we can proudly point to our two charming queens: Gladys Smith, Queen of King Jack, and Barbara Laster, Queen of Football. One of the high lights of our year was our class- play, M'Iiss, which was presented on April 13 by an excellent cast of ten to a large and highly appreciative audience. Then, among the cherished memories of Our crowded year are the Christmas party in the gym : the cor- Onation of our King Jack Queen and the dance in her honor: the delightful J unior-Senior banquet with its colorful Western background: the thrill of donning our caps and gowns for the first time. Now We are anticipating with keenest pleasure the Senior class picnic at Roar- ing River, the round of Commencement festivities, and the grand climax of our high school life-Graduation Night. 24 ffl,f4SS IUNIQNIY BA Council '40- fit'l'Il,'I2lIf I IlIiIIY.NlIiR C.ItIb, D.
