On Friday night, March 7, Miss Gladys Smith was crowned Queen of King Jack by John Bishir, president of the Senior Class, at a very beautiful and colorful ceremony. The throne was covered with silver foil over a pink base. The background was formed by a huge fan of pastel colors edged with silver, and the coronation chair was a tall, beautifully carved antique of 18th century design, belonging to Mrs. Larry P. Larsen. Palms and vases of flowers formed the other decorations.
