Occupied in fall of 1912. Bonds issued for 390,000 Last bondsvpaid off, February, 1945. Annex built in 1932,-Music and Manual A1-ts Building.. Mr. G. H. Knost, member of Board of Education, donated his services as contractor. FIRST HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING Old West Side School built in 1891 at cost of 513,000 SECOND HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING Old Central School built in 1894 at cost of S35,000. First pub- lic building west of the Mississippi to have a. zinc roof. WEBB CITY HIGH SCHOOL ORGANIZED 1890. Department plan introduced in 1895. Two courses offered: Latin and Science.
