ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I ' M FREE Don ' t grieve for me, for now I ' m free. I ' m following the path God has laid you see, 1 took His hand when 1 heard him call. 1 turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these things 1, too, will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. OBITUARY DARRYL WAYNE (MITCH) MITCHELL, 32, of Hartford, CT, departed this life on Monday, January 5, 1998 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and was a Hartford resident for most of his life. He was a member of Northend Church of Christ. He was a 1983 graduate of Weaver High School; and was on the basketball team for 4 years. He attended Lancing Community College in Lancing, Michigan for 2 years and was also a member of the Hogar Crea Center of Hartford, CT where he was Assistant Director. He is survived by his mother, Jane Mitchell; one brother, Mark Mitchell and two sisters Verlecuia (Lisa) and Angelena (Angel) Mitchell, all of Hartford, CT. Two nephews, Mark Mitchell, of Windsor, CT; Michael Madden, Jr. of Hartford, CT; three nieces: Fildelity Brown of Springfield, MA; Amber Mitchell and Dayjan Turner of Hartford, CT; Francis Mitchell (paternal grandmother) of Jersey City, NJ; Lola Arnold (maternal grandmother); Camden, AL; Virginia Mitchell (stepmother) Bloomfield, CT;and two special little boys: Trevor Shawn Gregory whom he treated as if they were his own. Devoted friends: Dexter Champbell and the Almogro Boys of Hartford, CT. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Ernest Mitchell and Abe Mitchell (paternal) and Mack Arnold, Sr. (maternal) grandfathers.
