I ' m strong and mighty as you can tell; and through the day I ' m Howard Corcell. I come through the door, I find that there ' s no place to change so I use the “School Store . I break through the door and who do I see. Someone who looks quite familiar to me. This strange thing lets out a howl. So I know for sure its the evil Owl. The Owl says “Super-Beaver ; I understand you ' re the greatest hero throughout the land. But there ' s something you must know; I ' m here to tell you you ' ve got to go. “Super Beaver says, this can ' t be, cause I ' m “SuperBeaver the cool, cool, M.C. School was over so I dropped the sound that me and the Owl were going to throw down. We quarrelled and wrestled for half of the day. Then the Owl had nothing more to say. So I have won without a doubt. Now to the world I can shout. I won our dignity and our pride, now WEAVER HIGH has nothing to hide. I fought the fight with all my might to make things right. WEAVER HIGH___ J me T 1982 Date Course Completed w tUOMM «W On September 1, 1981 a violent explosion destroyed the Acornian dam and caused flooding on the planet Treea- te ' um. His anxious parents placed Baby Beaver in a gi¬ ant acorn and sent him earth¬ ward. The arcorn landed in front of Weaver High School and was discovered by Billy Birch Beaver and Bertha B. Beaver who had wandered up from their home behind the football field. They flapped their tails in the happiness of aquaintance and immediately adopted the baby to raise as their own kit. Billy B. Beaver Jr. (former¬ ly Baby Beaver ) didn ' t have the natural instincts like most other beavers. He had to receive swimming in¬ struction. Since he had lost his front teeth in a landing accident, he had to resort to a saw to get food. With much patience and practice Billy mastered these skills and more (like flying) and be¬ came the best lumberjack north of the river. ICING ON THE CAKE How many people go to work and find a bowling alley, squash and racquetball courts, a jogging track and shower facilities? These and much more are part of the Etna package. WEAVER GRADS AT Etna We asked someone from our Personnel Depart¬ ment about the number of Etna employees who are Weaver graduates. “Noway,” she said. There are too many Weaver people here to count. We’ve been recruiting from Weaver for years. And we take all the Weaver grads we can get. Because we’ve found they’re responsible, hard-working and eager to take advantage of the many opportunities Etna offers.” You have the raw potential. Etna has continuing job opportunities. At first he appears to be an oversized rodent but closer observation reveals that it is SUPER BEAVER. It ' s been a hard year for this fearless furry leader. He has met the forces of evil: apathy, lazyness, immaturity, and senioritis. But with steadfast effort he has overcome all. At last the members of the Class of ' 82 are indeed the SUPER SENIORS. As they leave to find jobs, further their education, and raise families. Super Beaver can rest knowing that they take with them their desire to promote peace, justice, and the Weaver way.
