You will see that we are dedicated in everything that we do. For the Beavers, What ' s Ahead can only be the very Best! So as the class of 81 ' , we continue to go on in life, pushing for the top. We will always be ready for What ' s Ahead! Where do I meet my bus? 1092-B; where is that homeroom? Computer printout . . . I wonted my schedule. No hots! No smoking! No coots! I wonder how I could meet that cute looking girl sitting over there. Sign up for S.A.T. and College Representatives . . . guess I really am a senior. HERE ' S WEAVER 5 I WE GET RAINED ON! § $ 4 ■ t S| Hi r - m ft We elected Mr. 6 Miss Weaver and the organization representatives. We had our Homecoming Ball. We planned our floats for weeks. We spent hours practicing as the band, drillteam, cheerleaders, booster club and football team put all their effort into it. We attended the bon fire and pep rally and then ... it rained! Beavers are known for their dedication and resourcefulness so as the water fell, we had our parade and played our game. By Saturday evening we were tired and damp but Homecoming was over, and the agony of defeat was soothed by the Beaver Spirit we had shared. As members of the class of 81, we aim to reach the peak of our intellectual potential. Whether our goals are college, technical schools, armed services, or immediate employment, we realize that the classroom is the most important part of school. Recalling Weaver High School ' s past reputation as an outstanding academic institution, we continue to strive to show that we are still number one in 1931. WE GET ON TARGET . 0 mi 9 WE GET IT TOGETHER Besides academic work, Weaver offers much more for its students. There is a wide variety of athletic competition, both team and individually orientated. If you are not inclined towards sports there are numerous clubs and extracurricular activities to fill after school hours. Weaver High doesn ' t close at 1:50. Early in the morning there is cheerleader practice and sports events go into the evening. All day long Weaver is filled with students who are getting it together. 10 WORKPLACES ARE EMPLOYED 12 mwjSWm mm j ‘A V, ' ' k wa!
