Miss Katherine R. Goodwin We would not dream of leaving Weaver without offering a sincere Thank you” to Miss Katherine Goodwin, our Dean of Girls. It is her sympathetic and understanding nature that has helped us over the bumps, and has paved the way to success and happiness for a number of Weaver girls. Her friendly smile, always a welcome sight, enhanced her efficient manner. In working with her, we have con¬ stantly found Miss Goodwin eager to aid us in our projects, and we have found her advice extremely beneficial. We extend to Miss Goodwin a sincere expression of our gratitude.

Mr. Ezra Melrose The light was born where storms enshroud.” Truly Mr. Ezra Melrose, our vice-principal, has been the light which has guided many dis¬ tressed seniors through their journey on the Weaver Showboat. Always on hand to give sound advice, Mr. Melrose has displayed a sincere interest in all Weaver students. He has been a welcome figure at school events, in the receiving lines and at the ticket window, alike. His amiable nature, pleasant disposition, and understanding, along with his progressive ideas, have made Mr. Melrose a combination of friend and teacher that is hard to beat.” i
