LIBRARY CLUB The Library Club is made up of those students who are library assistants. They check books in and out, shelve the books, help process new books, and they assist in the operation of the audio-visual machines. Each year the library club has sponsored a reading contest for the elementary grades to help them become acquainted with new books. The last two years they have sponsored a book fair to add new books to the library here at Weaver. FRENCH CLUB The French Club is open to students who are taking French I. The purpose of the club is to enrich, broaden, and develop an appreciation for the cultural aspects of French life and customs. Our major activities for this year are: 1. To attend French Club Convention, 2. To sponsor the Beaux Arts Ball. 3. To attend the performance of the famous French theater company, Le Treteau De Paris, in the production of Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme.
