FLO0DLIGlITS SHI E 0 OUR CLASS 0F '64 At the climax of our three years at Weatherwax High, we seniors look back on high school with many fond memories, These years were filled with good times, hard work, victories and defeats. We will always remember the exciting games, the tests, dances, and assemblies that made up our high school experience. These are the years we will never forget. We can look back on fine participation in every phase of school life. Many of us entered enthusiastically into the school activities. Some were fortunate enough to be be as- sociated with our fine musical department which participated in many performances at home and at contests. Others be- came a part of our athletic program and experienced many thrilling moments as members of the Aberdeen Bobcat roster. We have left our mark, also, in debate, drama, and, of course, in our outstanding scholastic record. We entered the doors of Weatherwax in l96l, eagerly looking forward to high school. Our class officers for the Sophomore year were President, George Nelson, Vice-President, Steve Hatfield, and Secretary-Treasurer, Barbara Hall. We worked hard an the United Weatherwax Drive, happy to give of our time and effort to such a worthy cause, We also planned our Sophomore Hop, MoongIow. It was enjoyed by all. We were saddened, too, that year by the loss of our classmate, Richard Lester. Page 24 - As we returned for our second year, we looked forward to being juniors. We knew what to expect from high school life, but something challenging was always awaiting us. We were aided during the year by President, Steve Hatfield, Vice- President, Barbara Hall, and Secretary-Treasurer, Kathy Fuller, We enioyed working on our first Junior-Senior Ball. The theme was Oriental Mist. The dance was a great success. ' One more summer passed, and we entered the halls of A.H.S. for the last time. Class officers for our final year were President, Mike McKean, Vice-President, Jon Bugher, and Secretary-Treasurer, Pat McAllister. Our Senior class is proud to have presented the Bobcat seal to Weatherwax High School. We feel this is a fitting memorial to our school spirit and motivation. The Weatherwax Drive was entered into for the final time. We worked hard to make it a success. Our Junior-Senior Ball, Class Night, and all the other extra- curricular activities were an important part of our last year. We will miss all the finals, Pep Week, the school store, the teachers, the morning bulletins, honors study hall, the games and most of all the move to Phillips. We are looking toward the future with eager anticipation, but we also look back in memory, knowing that our high school years have shaped a part of ourselves for the future. We hope never to lose the light of learning which has guided us in these past few years.
