These girls are usually chosen at the beginning of their Sophomore year and retain their membership for three years. One may recognize a Pep Club girl by her great school spirit. They are responsible for the pep signs that decorate the halls during football and basketball seasons. The first activity sponsored by Pep Club is the planning of Pep Week decorations before the Thanksgiving game. the Pep Court. It also handles the election of Another main project the club supports is the annual May Dance. The girls are divided into a number of decoration committees and they also make plans for the May Court coronation. The officers for 1962-63 were: Linda Clark, President, Betty Jo Meiggs, Vice-Presidentg Diane Henry, Secretary, Judy Norin, Treasurer. A CLUB The A Club is a large organization consisting of lettermen from foot- ball, basketball, wrestling, swimming, track, baseball, golf, tennis. Officers for the 1962-65 school year were: President, Verl Potts, Vice-President, Gary Hanson, Secretary, Jim Furth, Sergeant-at-Arms, Jim Welch. The Club has been quite active this year. The annual A Club dance was held in December at the Huntley Building. All proceeds from the dance were used for the George Palo Memorial Trophy. An active group within the organization was the Traffic Committee, which was in charge of student parking, They registered student cars and distributed Bobcat stickers. The members were also responsible for keeping the grounds around Weatherwax free from litter and assisting the Orthopedic Society with the license plate collection drive. In the spring the initiation party was held at the Natatorium. Members enjoyed swimming, volleyball, and basketball. They finished off the year in grand style.
