She openeth her mouth in wisdom And the law of kindness is on her tongue. While only the artistically inclined have the opportunity of becoming personally ac- quainted with Miss Hollan they know that behind her modest personality lies a reser- voir of will power and individuality willingness to help others and congeniality. She strives to raise her students work to a high peak of perfection whether it be in English or art. ln her field of greatest devotion art she not only teaches classes but also advises the COG art committee and the decoration committee for the student lounge. At her suggestion the advanced art students painted the mural in the library. Her devotion to Weatherwax High School doesnt end with the close of school in June, Each summer she finds a new area of America she has not yet explored and attends summer school there. ln the fall she returns with a vast new knowledge of art techniques and teaching methods. Therefore, Miss Hollan, we hope that this honor you so rightly deserve for your devotion and service to Weatherwax High School will, in a small measure, show you how highly we love and respect you. 5 'Y President L L Martin Deggeller Vice President lawrence Nyrron Secretory Gerry Lontz Treasurer Suson Gilrrore TLIDENTSA D DULTS Mortin Deggeller, student body president, heoded the Senote through o busy yeor. They build, stat? and pay for the schools and they send their children to them. Thus the people have a deep, multifold interest in the schools, and an abiding pride in them, too. School board members are the representatives ot the people in the Aberdeen dis- trict. They enact the schools business in the peoples name and they share with the people the responsibility for our educational processes, The board and the people are iustly proud not only ot our school plant and staff but of the line showing made by our siudent body. Especially is the board proud of the T959 s nior class which has poss bly a scholastic excellence exceeding that of any class in the districts hi ory The board feels that good facilities encourage scholarship and that excellence de raves from the vvill attention and devotion of the students themselves The board is happy to say that Aberdeen by all manner of measurements has one ot the finest systems in the state with a student body to match Your School Board Principal Ben O Curran Supt H J Kramer Vice Principal Peter Londahl Secretary Steve Turk School Board Mr, Don Spoon Mr, Ed Van Sfclf'e Mrs Vivian Twidwell Rev.
