JUNIOR HISTORY Amid aches and groans the now more experienced delegates found themselves marching up four winding flights of stairs for our third term Our superiors were Mr Edgar and Mrs Lewis for the first half of the year and Mr Kelshaw for the latter half of the year This time our sessions were held Jointly and those elected to office were President LOUIS ROMANO Vice President JOHN ANDRESFSKY Secretary JOHN ACKERMAN Treasurer RUTH ANN FRABLE Historian WILLIAM DOLINSKY Twenty eight members chose the Democratic Party and eleven chose the Republican Parry As in the past Uwo years we had another roller skating party at the Arcadia This year we had four main attractions our annual Junior play Family Circle n October a convention ball in December a social get together at Adams in April for a doggie roast and a bake sale in May for Campaign purposes SENIOR HISTORY Our fourth and final year found us once more in the same caucus room as in the was appointed Chief Justice of the Courts Electrons were held and the following people were elected to office President LOUIS ROMANO Vice President GARY MAKUCH Secretary JANICE EROH Treasurer JOHN ACKERMAN Historian JOYCE WAGNER After the inauguration we held a Get Acquainted Dance followed by the traditional initiation of the greenres in October As a sort of further celebration our delegation held a bake sale in November on Electron Day As the year progressed we worked on such projects as a Valentine dance a benefit show and a presentation of Lavender and Old Lace chosen to be our annual senior class play With much exhilaration and a great deal of solemnity we found ourselves going through the final stages of our glorious era Class Day and Baccalaureate service were here And then the big moment we had all prepared for came graduation' We had now become delegates ar large wife previous year. FRESHMAN HISTORY September 1 1953 found fifty three eager delegates walking into Convention Hall for their first term of a challenging new session The girl delegates assembled in Mr Timko s caucus room and the boy delegates in Mr Kline s caucus chamber Our weekly meetings were held separately Officers leading the girl delegates through their first term were President RUTH ANN FRABLE Vice President JANICE EROH SCCICIEIY CAROLE HESS TICSSLIICI JOYCE WAGNER Historian MARY ANN ADAMS Officers for the boy delegates were President ROYCE MCCLUSKY Vice President DEAN DOMINICK Secretary GARY MAKUCH Treasurer DAVID EVANS activity was a hay ride at Hickory Run The boys and girls assembled again for a Christmas party in the lobby and later for a roller skating party at the Arcadia Ours was the first delegation to organize a newspaper the Newsy Nugget in many years Mr Edgar was our advisor SOPHOMORE HISTORY After a three month intermission our delegates began a second term of office under the supervision of Mr Ebling and Mr Murray we were separated as before Class offr cers for the girls were President JEAN SHAFER Vice President JANICE EROH Secretary BARBARA BACHART Treasurer RUTH ANN FRABLE Historian MARY ANN ADAMS Class officers for the boys were President DAVID EVANS Vice President LOUIS ROMANO Secretary ROBERT KLYNOW SKY For most of us it was a big swing from desks to lockers This being an off year We had only one special event a roller skating party at the Arcadia The NEWSY NUGGET our Congressional Record proved to be successful and so we continued it under the guidance of Mr Edgar ' , . - . . .
