DEDICATION To Mr. loseph Stumpp, whose earnest desire to teach and whose superior musical knowledge have made him beloved by his students, we respectfully dedicate this 1954 MELON VINE. Mr. Stumpp has taught Band in the Weatherford School System for the past twenty-four years. In this time he has developed many outstanding bands and individual players who have won many awards. Mr. Stumpp is a native of Germany and came to the United States in l907. He started taking music at the age of five, and has studied in many famous schools, both here and abroad. Surely no one could be more deserving or worthy to receive such a dedication than our own Mr. Ioseph Stumpp.
