Switzer, the first president of Weatherford College, was organized September 29, 1922, Under the able leadership of Herbert Keaton, the society has accomplished the work plannedg the promotion of a spirit of friendly competition between the Lanham and Switzer socie- ties and increasing general interest in debating and oratorical work.
