Parading Through The Decades As in years past, Wayzata once again had a homecoming parade in downtown Wayzata on Lake Street. Each class had a float which was appropriate for their decade, except the sophomores who did not enter a float in the parade. The seniors rode a float which was a ‘‘speak-easy and wore 20’s attire. The juniors had a float with a jukebox which played 50's music for their decade. The drama department and marching band also entered floats and they tied for the winning float. Besides the floats, the band, cheerleaders, and Trojets marched in front of the royalty, who rode in cars. The senior class speak-easy. 8
