Well. our students are privileged to attend the annual Junior Class Play. The Junior Class sponsors this theater entertainment to help meet the great need for prom expenditures. This year these Junior Thes- pians, under the able direction of Mrs. Smith, presented. uWe Shook The Family Tree. Well, Hector, you know the actors and actresses aren't the only people needed to produce a play, so. we dontt want to forget our stage mim- ager Don Faue and his capable creweDave Hill, Charles Hagstrom, and Ken SchafTer. Result of their work, a few smashed fingers and a fine panorama for the young dra- matic students to display their talents. The opening per- formance of the play was a great night. h. yes. such excitement when the curtain began to open! Hector. Oare, T. but anyway this is at story of Hildegurde Dolson. who nearly turns the town upside down when she deeldes she no long- ahead of your time. and not much like Antigone. er wants to be a wull-flower. Hildegarde. has a sister. Sally: a brother. Bobby. who hilS a passion for fishing: and another brother, tpoor girli who invents various hil- arious gadgets. tNever a dull moment was there, Hector'n Their parents have their hands full! Well to cut a long story short, Hector. Hildegarde is forced to go to the prom with the bekniekered Freddie Schermer! tNo offense to your Deeori. Ellie May and Paige add their teasing tan- trums to poor Hildegurde. thus displaying a delightful comedy! The cast included the following: Hildegarde C. Shearn. Mr. DolsonhB. Miller. Mrs. DnlsoneC.
