W'a'xzata wrestlers. in winning through to a second place in final state standings this past season. completed an out- standing six year record in state wrestling eirvles that likely rates second only to that posted by the six time ehampionship Rohhilisdale team. Starting with a modest seventh place in state standings in 19-10. the Wiayzata hays rose to the heights the following year to tie with Ruhhinsdale and Boys. Vocational fur the state vhampinnship. Three of their nunihere-Charlie Hensel. John Jordan and Bob HugheSewon individual titles. The next year the team tank a second in the regional meet and a third in the state with John Jordan repeating for an individual championship. 1913 fnund them taking third places in district and regional meets and sixth place in the state. Leon Leuer collected a first and Bernie Jordan a second place in the final state meet that year. Last season they again placed a strong team in the field. a team that elimaxed a successful season of dual competition by plating third in district and regional tournaments and fourth in final standings at the state meet. Leon Leuer made it two titles in a rnw at the state tournament and Chuck Zinn and Roy Spurzem added seennd place hmmrs tn make up the final total of 13 points.
