Presentation This is your book of memories of the school year, 1956 and 1957. This has been an important year in American History. Many unforgettable events have come to pass which will always remain, recorded in the chronicles of time. Despite the turmoil on the world scene, America has remained the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. She has retained her position of dignity, equality and liberty. This is our country, and we pay her our homage. WE ARE LOYAL AMERICANS! Oklahoma! This is her birthday year. Fifty years of progress and development from Teepees to Towers have passed since she first became a state. Her achievements have been phenomenal in in her first half century. We are proud to be her sons and daughters. WE ARE LOYAL OKLAHOMANS! The year 1956 and 1957 has seen many changes In Waynoka High School. New teachers have been added to our staff. Some teachers will make this year their last at W.H.S. A promising group of Seniors will leave this phase of life for college, employment, marriage, or the Armed Services. We sincerely hope that when you Seniors become alumni, you will continue to stand behind our school, and help the faculty and students to uphold the principles and traditions of which our school is proud. May you always feel a wave of pride when you hear the school song; and may the strains of 'T've Been Working On the Railroad always bring back happy memories. Turn the pages and visit again W.H.S. WE ARE LOYAL TO WAYNOKA HIGH SCHOOL!
