For the splendid opportunity of freedom, there is the re- sponsibility of safe-guarding that free- dom. We believe that nowhere is the youth of America given a better lab- oratory for the preparation of life than in our present day school system. In many instances life situations are pro- vided to develop judgment, loyalty, stability, and other essentials of good character. The trials and problems faced in school become the happy memories in the years ahead. Clyde D.
