in the year Jerry Underwood joined our group Our officers for the year were Norran litaker, President, Ros lie Larex Vice President Margaret Crowder, Secretary, Dan Voliva, lreasurer, and Student Council member, Joyce D vis Our sponsors xere tary Ielen Loveless and Robert Gooding I 1 during tflS ye r xe vere able to show our talents as actors and actresses in our Junlor play We also acted as host for the annu l Junior nd Senior rrom of which we were quite proud In the f ll of l956 we entered IHS as dignified seniors to take the north rows of seats LH the Study hall Je found that Barbara Haas had left our class and that we had gained Billy Bob edvards again and Donna Riggs The officers elected for our senior year were Tom Johnson rresident, Jerry Underwood, V1ce lresident, Joan Horrocks member Our sponsors were Clyde Mitchell and Atwood Smlth It was during thi ye r that Gwen hcManomy was choo en as homecoming queen Also we were g in given an opportunity to show our acting abilltles in our Senior play On Nay l7 near the conclusion of our senior year, we were delight fully entertained by the Juniors with a banquet held in the chool cafeteria and a lovely evenlng of entertainment which followed in the high school gym Our Baccalaureate service was held Sunday evening, May 19, 1057 at the Bapist Church vith Rev Nilli m Clark dellverlnv the sermon.
