When Jim discovered this he was more disgusted than he had previously been and told Mrs Roosevelt to fly around the world Under his breath, he said, UAnNplace, but get away from herein After toying with this idea, Eleanor decided th t she would take a trip around the world. She soon became so bus lannin that she forgot her sickness, Y P 8 and I once again lived a normal life. the evening, and gratefully I accepted. We toured the town in Eddie's Thunderbird, and it sounded like thunder Apparently, he hadn't forgotten how to Upopu his muffler I reluctantly sa d good bye to Joyce and Eddie Eleanor and I left the next day for Hollywood When we arrived in Hollywood, naturally we were greeted by Louella Parsons. She invited Mrs Roosevelt and me to go with her to a movie set Arriving on the set, whom should I see hurrying to Elizabeth Taylor's dressing room but BARBARA MCMANOMY We talked a few minutes and she informed me that she was Elizabeth Taylor's hair- dresser. We soon Luft Hollywood destination Hawaii We had wired ahead to Honolulu for our reservations and were quite glad to retire to our rooms to rest As we were entering the dining room that evening, I saw a lady who looked familiar to me curiosity being aroused, I walked over to get a closer look A the lady turned, I saw that it was PEG LANDIS As we talked, I discovered that she and her husband owned the resort in which we were staying Eleanor must have wanted to see some kangaroos because she told me that we were traveling to Australia next Naturally, whem you think of Australia, you think of tennis, so we went to a tennis match lhen the announcer boomed that MISS MARILOU CROWDER was playing in a match that afternoon, which she won, I nearly fell from my seat I talked to Marilou after the match and she However, she looked very happy to me. Our next stop was to be Egypt I was very excited I had always wanted to see the pyramids After touring what seemld to be all Egypt, we finally came to the pyramids I saw a man studying them and jotting figures down on 0 clip board It was CHARLIE QUILLIN! He told me that some engineering firm was pay ing him P fabulous sum to make an exact replica of a pyramid While we were talking, a telegr m messenger came up and handed Charlie a telegram Charlie said, uOh, no! Now they want me in Paris. Something has gone wrong with the Eiffel Tower and they expect it to fall any day They want me to come and study its construction U Now we were going to Italyi I was tired when we arrived and told Eleanor that I thought I would eat dinner and retire early I walked down the street and saw a pizza house I thought, UOh, good, now I get to eat some real Italian pizza W I walked bask to a corner table and discovered that LARRY HUDSON was sitting across the room.
