Haywood County Public Library Waynesvilie NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE Published By The Senior Class of WAYNESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL Waynesvilie, North Carolina Editor.Bill Ferguson Business Manager . . Eleanor Holder FOREWORD Last September most of us look¬ ed on this coming school year as one to remember-the dances, parties, ball games, and the fiin around the campus. We will always treasure these precious memories, butwe can¬ not forget the real purpose of our education and the wonderful Chris¬ tian men and women who have led us along this long hard road-our teach¬ ers and counselors. As you read this book, the school year will almost be over, and for the Seniors it will be their last. But the spirit we have shared and which has united us will forever remain dear to our hearts. May this book serve as the golden key to open wide the door of the boun¬ tiful storehouse of memories, which we have harvested at Waynesville Township High School. Forward! March! Reason and judgement are the qualities of a leader. Ah, you ' re kidding-not nitro-glycerin? ! 2 We muse about in the crowd all day. 3 rr ' But great achievements raise a monument which shall endure until the sun grows cold.
