VV e didn,t have much trouble knowing who was who, but there were a lot of unfamiliar freshman faces. We felt much superior to the freshmen, yet we were still classed as lowly underclassmen. During the last two weeks of summer and continuing on into the school year our sophomore boys claimed their recognition in football. Later Mulvaney, Moston, Summersgill, Hoffman. on in the school year they were not to be denied places on the basketball, wrestling and baseball teams. VVe are glad we were able to be in school when the team's name was changed from Yel- low Iacketsi' to KRed Raiders. We also ranked very high in scholastic life. We are very proud to acknowledge the point that our class prac- tically runs the Photography Club. Also our class came through with one hundred percent in Junior Red Cross and the March of Dimes. We now finish our Hrst two years at Waynes- burg High School. May our last two years be as successful and prosperous as the two preceed- ing years.
