Maize, McClure, Corwin, Stephenson ' iz, flau, Jlzlsioftq, REACHINC THE GOAL We, the class of ,48, leave Waynesburg High School with a feeling of pride and satisfaction. We go out to face the puzzling world with new knowledge and confidence gained in our four years of high school. Entering Waynesburg High School as ex- cited and hopeful freshmen, we began at once to take our place in the school. We successfully mastered the problems which inevitably con- fronted us during our iirst year and set up goals to attain. As sophomores, we had already made a name for ourselves. We participated in all sports and activities and contributed our skill and abilities in every way possible. CLASS OFFICERS President A ,.,., . james Stephenson . By the time we were juniors, we were an es- tablished part of the school. VVe were one of the most popular classes in sports, as well as club activities and social affairs. We also sponsored one of the most successful proms in the high school's history. Now the time has come for us to hid fare- well to Waynesburg High School and with it the good times we have had and the good friends we have made. All of us will miss high school and none of us will ever forget it. We have reached our goal after four years and hope we have set a good example. To the faculty and all of our un- derclassmen, we say, So long and good luck.
