Seniors Ray Barnes, President; Alex Brannon, Vice- President; Judy Cantwell, Secretary; Linda Curry, Treasurer. The Class of 1962 has many fond memories of the last four years at Waynesboro High School. Although many events have been forgotten, the most recent activities will be remembered for years to come. This year’s Senior Class has been the only one to adopt a uniform class ring. The 1961 Junior Variety Show was a great success, as was this year’s Senior Play. The 1961 Mardi Gras Prom and 1962 Finals were the pride of fun-loving Seniors. Scholastic achievement was notable; Waynesboro boasted a record number of National Merit Scholarship finalists. The class as a whole was interested in sports and strongly supported its athletic teams, which were comprised largely of Seniors. Waynes¬ boro’s Senior Class was well represented in All-State Band and All-State Chorus.
