’TTt ' l. flo tH Ott HMHM s4 Ttte teife 0 ? ' to K Ou% ' P ' uHCtfiat It is necessary to try to surpass one ' s sell always; this occupation ought to last as long as life. -- Queen Christiana The close of another school year is upon us—a time when we can reflect upon the things we have accomplished and decide whether we have used the opportunities of the year to surpass ourselves. I feel that many of you have. I know that many of our organizations and activities have surpas¬ sed their previous best efforts. I have seen many of you surpass yourself and acquire new skills, new understandings, and new appreciations. As your principal, I have experienced a feeling of sincere pride in your success. I encourage you to continue your efforts to go beyond yourself. Some of you will be in high school again next year; some of you will be in college and some will have entered the business world. Wherever you are, try hard to do better than you have done; make this a habit which will last for all your life. J.L. Johnson, Principal 6
