If that is true, then Thomas Fullerton's stu- dents have sustained the loss ofa true teacher. Mr. Fullerton first came to this area about five years ago to ioin the Science Department of WASHS. He obtained his bache- lor of science degree from Slippery Rock College. Because of his outstanding work, he received a fellowship from Penn State Uni- versity, where he became a nuclear physicist. During the five-year period at WASHS, Mr. Fullerton taught physics, chemistry, and nuclear science. His dedication to his students was apparent, as they always found his classes challenging. He even made tapes covering the material discussed in his classes for the absent students. Many of Mr. Fullerton's former students were later able to appreciate his teaching methods, especially those who went to college, they discovered that they were better prepared than many of their classmates. Mr. Fullerton was one of the few people who could have boasted of living a full life in 28 years. 27
