CLASS HISTCDRY t Jnly a few years ago we were two separate families. Une living at XX ay- neshoro junior lligh and the other at xY2lSlllllglUIl 'l'ownship junior lligh. llow- ever, in .lune of 1957 we said, Sayonara. to our respective junior high schools and the following' fall had our first taste of high school life. .Xs sophomores, we elected Steve liurger. president: Dorene Shank, vice- presidentg llarhara lloats, secretary: and Shirley Shank, treasu1'er. Hur main projects were a food sale and the class plays. Stuart lfnough To Ile Dumb, 'l'he New Car, and More l'erfect Union. liy the time we reentered XY. .X. H. S. as juniors, we were old l1a11ds at finding our way around school. l'1'on1ptly we got to work and elected Sant Shafer. president: Tom tJ'Shea. vice-president: .loyce llarkdoll, seeretaryg and llorene Shank, treasurer. ln addition to The Reverend George liitner, two other nienibers of the faculty, Mrs. Nancy Martin and Mr. Fred Haubcr, were appointed to serve as ad- visors to our class. Many nieniorahle things took place i11 this year 1958-1959. XYe present- ed three plays, entitled: l'atterns, Pinch Me, and Romantic Conspiracy. lu january of 'SQ we ordered our class rings. We also had various inoney-making projects, in order to have a successful junior-Senior Prom. In .Xpril we worked many evenings to re-decorate our gym into a japanese l'alace. .Xt long last wc were seniors. The officers we elected are as follows: 'lloin U'Shea, president: .Xrt Guyer, vice-president: llarhara lloats. secretary: and llorene Shank. treasurer. Our advisors were Klrs. Marguerite lliffenhaucher. and Klr. lfred llauher. Our senior year. was our husiest. lYe sold personalized stationery and ordered our nante cards and annawuneenients. lnstead of having a class play. there was a school hlzli' entitled.
