Most sports were intramurals but Play Days were scheduled with other schools par ing with the club in various major sports. The main thing of the year, the Army-Navy game, consisted of both varsity and reserve teams, was also included in the busy schedule. Points given to the members for their participation in sports and the girls are rewarded starting with .g blemsg then, letters, next, pins, and best of all, trophies, usually received by very sports-I seniors. The Biology Club is the largest organization at Waynedale. It is also one of the most active, sponsoring a student of the month, a Science Fair, a spring and a fall field trip, an annual Christmas card sale, and a series of Audubon screen tours. The money from the projects is used to promote scientific interest in the school and to purchase worthwhile objects for the school, such as our human torso. The Pep Club is an organization made up of students who wish to support athletic programs and thereby increasing spirit throughout the student body. This organization, from sponsoring dances after a few of the athletic activities to making posters to spark school spirit before an approaching game, depends solely on the students for its function. It is therefore the duty of the Pep Club to support our teams, whether they win or lose, with great loyalty and enthusiasm.
