,G- To the members of the graduating class of 1964 I ex- tend my congratulations. You have been striving for twelve years to reach the goal you have obtained. Set other goals for yourself and realize that true value comes from the ef- fort expended in trying for a high goal, not from the ac- complishment of an easy task. Set your goals high and con- tinue your effort to reach them. Good Luck, Edwin O. Thompson To the class of 1964: Congratulations on the suc- cessful completion of your course of study at Waynedale High School and on the completion of this yearbook which so well records many of your school experiences. To be sure, each of you has not worked equally hard to improve yourself academical- ly and socially. Some of you have contributed more to your school program than others. However, the hope is ex- pressed that all of you are fundamentally prepared to accept and deal effectively with the varied challenges which, undoubtedly, must be faced. If you realize that the learning process never ends, that acquired basic skills must be broadened and deep- ened, and understand with humility that the surface of knowledge has only been touched, then success in fu- ture experiences will be more easily grasped. Best Wishes, David Enderle
