of New Time Begins . . . About half of the class suffered through biology, just as every other class has doneg but by the end of the year they had learned two important things: how to take notes and how to follow directions to the letter. As is the custom, the sophomores gave the Valentine's Dance, this year called Holiday for Heartsf' At the dance, the king and queen of hearts were chosen. The cafeteria was decorated with hearts and cupids which carried out the theme. A band was obtained for the dance because it was jointly spon- sored by the Student Council and the soph- omore class. After this, they concluded the year with the usual work and final exams, looking forward to the summer and junior year. A large word of thanks goes to Miss Ca- porusso and Mrs. Thomson, their advisers, who helped them so much during the past year.
