This Yearbook has been published by student volunteers from the School of Medicine. All revenues in excess of liabilities incurred are used in the preparation of the following year's chronicle. We wish to extend our appreciation to Charles Pickard, Nick Spanos, our patrons and advertisers, Edwards Brothers, Inc. ol' Ann Arbor and especially to the real producers ol' this annual, the student body for their support and cooperation. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Walther W. Lipp of the Department of Anatomy for allowing us the use of his splendid collection ol' photographs depicting the historical development of microscopes.
