Located in the lounge of the Conn Library, it attracted large crowds at the Sunday Open House which initiated the Golden Week of Anniversary activities.  i Historic pictures, wittily cut-lined, were on display in the upstairs hall of the library . . .and also in the lounge along with ail the old Spizzerinktums. (Thought we’d sneak that in). Fifty years ago. this was the ultimate in gracious living. Today's standards are typified by the Berry Hall room below. B.A. 1927, sj oke Thursday evening at the Golden Years Banquet in the Student I'nion. Before his address, he received Wayne State's Distinguished Service Award from President Brandenburg (photo left). Other recipients of the DSA: Dr. McGee and Dr Decker.
