The WSTC selection directed by Dr. Dorothy Selz was a one-act play, Aria Da Capo, by Edna St. Vincent Millay. Kelley Janssen and Sherry Dalton were named ot- tendants to Mary Ann at the annual affair. Joseph Hansen, Council Bluffs, la., senior, was named one of six students in the United States to receive a S250 cash scholarship from Pi Gamma Mu, national honorary social science fraternity. Hansen will apply the grant toward grad- uate study in history at the University of Wyoming. He is the first Wayne State stu- dent to apply for and win one of the na- tional scholarships. The awards are made upon application through consideration of scholastic records and recommendations. No competitive exams are involved.
