Janice graduated in January and is now teaching in Sioux City, la. She was major- ing in tour-year lower elementary teaching and English with minors in sociology and speech. Plans for the future include teach- ing and marriage. Graduate work in counseling and guidance at the University of Nebraska awaits Brad upon graduation. The busy Stater has a major in English and minors in speech, dra- matics and journalism. Upon completing a term in the armed services, Jerry plans on additional schooling to become a certified public accountant. He is a commerce major with minors in physical science and economics. One ot tour juniors named, Chet Christen- sen includes teaching in his plans upon grad- uation. A veteran, Chet is majoring in Eng- lish with minors in sociology and history. BRAD BIGELOW Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities One of the most sought after honors and major achievements for upperclassmen on the WSTC campus or any other campus in Amer- ica is the distinction of being named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Nominations for the honor are made by mem- bers of the junior and senior class and the faculty from juniors and seniors carrying a B average or better. These leaders are recognized on the basis of scholarship, in colleges and universities leadership in extra-curricular and academic activities, character and promise of future usefulness to business and society. She takes time from her job as secretary in the deans' office to follow up studies in commerce, mu- sic and mathematics. Darlene changed her name from Murphy to Janovy in December with one step . . . up the aisle. Majoring in speech and minoring in home economics and English, she plans to teach.
