CLASS OF NINETEEN SIXTY-ONE Sponsored by Mrs, Beverly Kitts and Mr. Donald Stadler, the lunior Class of l9Bl embarked upon a year of triumph with the election of Nick Christ as class president, Bob Ditimar as vice president, Cfwen 'Wine- koff as secretary, Bichard Foitik as treasurer, and Diane Lomprey and Diane Bader as co-publicity man- agers. Under its new officers, the luniors really began the year with the memorable and exciting class play, Dino . Played superbly by an excellent cast, the play captured the audience, alternating waves of emotion and laughter. Continuing their success, the luniors sold concessions at basketball games, sold Christmas cards, and proudly displayed their new class rings. Their year reached its climax, however, at the en- trancing and moonlit lunior Prom, Moonlight Sonata, for which they chose their class flower, a white carna- tion with blue tips. Completing a remarkable junior year, the class of 'El is striving ardently to make its Senior year an even greater success. '31 1 , I THE CLASS OF NINETEEN SIXTY-TWO Beginning their Sophomore year impressively, mem- bers of the class of '52 chose Mr. Donald Domke and Mr. William Elliott as sponsors, and elected their class officers: Bill Coole, president, Karol Kitchens, vice pres- ident, Marie Tenorio, secretary: leff Wells, treasurer: and leanne Bozen, publicity manager. After selecting royal blue and white as their class colors, the sophomores ordered class sweaters, dis- tinguished by the cougar emblem, and many classmen ordered rings.
