The play's mood ranged from delightful humor to tender passion and powerful drama, as Mr. Sheridan and sweet, shy Shirley Wallace, a young settlement house worker, successfully steered Dino away from crime. Mrs. Letha Rice, play director, commented, There are three principal criteria in the selection of a high school play: fl? has it literary value, C25 will it provide good entertainment, and C35 is it within the scope of high school students? The lunior Play, Dino, met these three requirements admirably. The students found each role a challenge and their excellent par- ticipation enabled them to give a performance that can be classed as one of the best. , ,,..X , 1
