HOMECOMING One of the yecrr's most memorable events for both students and recent graduates was the second annual Homecoming. Many fond memories of the first Home- coming were relived in the minds of alumni, and underclassrnen looked forward to future l-lomecomings, as Brenda Steele was crowned Queen of the l959 Homecoming by Bonnie lohnstone, the i958 Queen. Beginning a reign that lasted through the annual Fall Prolic, Autumn Leaves, Brenda was presented a bouquet of lovely red roses by Dave Pugh, publicity manager of the Senior Class. After her unforgettable moment Brenda and her court, Muriel Coole, Pat Luckett, Vickie Melvin and Connie Michels, left the field in new convertibles to the strains of The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi.
