Librarians are responsible for checking books in and out of the Library, making sure that books Librarians assist students in research work. L40- and magazines are kept in order, and providing a quiet study place. Officers of this year's Library Staff are LaVonne Lutt, presidentg Judy Korth, vice presi- dentg Fauneil Frevert, secretary. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month. Boys interested in audio-visual spend many hours in showing films.

Cast of Variety Play Speak E Thespian Troupe 48 of Wayne High has 34 members and pledges. Officers of the organiza- tion are president, Jane Jeffrey, vice president, Colleen Willertg secretary, Nila Foster, treasurer, Sandra Davis, clerk, Charles Koeberg and the sponsor is Miss Ross. The highlight of this year's Thespian ac- tivities was the Variety Show presented February 1. Backstage crew of Variety Show iotinctly Jim Hein and Judy Kollmorgen were the master and mistress of ceremonies. President Jane Jeffrey was the production manager of the show. Some of the acts in the show included two one-act plays, the Charleston, William the Wizard, three I'6adi1'lg5, the Honeymooners, and a guest Thespian from Norfolk, Nebr., Tom lngham, who pantomimed three records.
